Invisalign is a great alternative to traditional braces. They provide an “invisible” and non-invasive way to correct your smile. So how should you prepare for a trip while wearing Invisalign?
1. It is best practice to take your previous set, current set and a new set of aligners with you. Based on how long you have been wearing the current set will determine whether you will go back to the previous set or move forward to the next set. If the current aligners are tight, go back.
2. Bring an extra case. This way, if you leave one behind, you have a spare.
3. If you are unable to brush at a particular moment then make sure you rinse out your mouth and aligners before reinserting them into your mouth.
4. When flying, always keep your aligners in your carry-on. This way of your checked baggage gets misplaced you will still have the aligners on you.
