Dr. Loyacona's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Saint Vincent College and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh. He further specialized in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics through a 3-year residency at the University of Pittsburgh, where he also served as a teaching fellow in the Department of Orthodontics. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Loyacona has been dedicated to creating beautiful and healthy smiles for his patients.

Outside of the office, Dr. Loyacona cherishes spending quality time with his family. He and his wife Patti have three children: Anthony, Nicholas and Maria. Dr. Loyacona maintains a passion for health and fitness, particularly weight training. In addition, he enjoys traveling and playing golf.

Dr. Telles is from the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where his dental journey began. He obtained his Dental Degree and Orthodontic Certificate from the esteemed Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and served as an Orthodontist in the Brazilian Navy for seven years. In 2017, he moved to the USA and obtained a DMD from the University of Pittsburgh and an Orthodontic Certificate from Maryland. Dr. Telles considers Pittsburgh his home in the USA and is excited to be back and join the Loyacona Orthodontics family.

Dr. Telles is fluent in English and Portuguese and has a conversational grasp of Spanish, enriching his connection with diverse cultures and communities. Outside of his work, he enjoys playing video games, staying active with volleyball, and relaxing at home with his spouse, Drew Myers, a Pittsburgh native.
